Dang it! there's no Category for Legos!


Alright, five hours of work, somewhere over a hundred legos, and three pictures of the actual thing went into the making of this!

The legs are fully mobile (although this is the only way it'll stand), as is the Rail Gun and Radome.
It can swivel at the waist, and the F.E. LASER can move up and down. the back can open up to a mock-up of a small nuclear engine.
And most of all, the cockpit opens just like it did in the game! There's even room for a Lego man and a small computer screen.

I'm really surprised how well this turned out, especially since I haven't bought a Lego set in like... seven years. I really wish I had one of those spring-loaded Lego guns so i could actually make the Rail Gun fire a Lego Nuke.

I'd love to do all of the Metal gears, but sadly I don't have the time/money/Legos to do them all. I may get one of two more cranked out before I lose interest in doing it.

But damn, how awesome would that be though? All 14 Metal Gears! Nearly to scale with the Lego men! With one Solid Snake Lego man to fight them all!

Oh! On a small side note, I have a Liquid Snake for the pilot, and little Solid Snake and Grey Fox Minifigs for the set. Grey Fox (in ninja outfit) took some customising, and I had to paint Liquid's hair, but they all look pretty good.
